Primera Food Nigeria Limited, a leading FMCG company (Food Plant Factory) in Agbara, Ogun State, Nigeria, is recruiting a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below:
Job Title: Health and Safety Officer
Location: Agbara, Ogun
Responsibilities
- Evaluate workplace activities for corrective measures implementation
- Conduct toolbox meetings and drill when necessary
- Monitor HSE system and programs
- Disseminate information on safety to all department/discipline to alert them on specific hazards.
- Reporting to the HSE Manager.
- The incumbent will be involved with the implementation of policies relating to health, safety & environment in the workplace.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies.
- Conduct HSE induction for new employees.
Requirements
- A good Degree in Food Science and Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience which must be in food industry.
- Relevant and adequate HSE professional qualification in the manufacturing/food industry would be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of GMP, QMS systems would be an added advantage.
- Excellent computer literacy is a pre-requisite.
